The topic of research may be drawn from any area of law that can be assessed by a staff member in the law school (who is not on leave). Consequently, if an appropriate staff member isn’t available then we will not be able to accept your topic. Having done that, you should then approach a member of staff with expertise in the relevant area for guidance as to whether the topic is feasible and worth pursuing.
